San Francisco
Died: 29 November 1981

Star of "Rebel Without a Cause", (1955 with James Dean),"The Searchers" (1956 with John Wayne), "Spendor in the Grass" directed by Elia Kazan and "West Side Story" (both 1961) and "Inside Daisy Clover" (1965). She drowned mysteriously in 1981 off California's Catalina Island while vacationing with her husband Robert Wagner and actor Christopher Walken.

Wood was married twice to actor Robert Wagner.
