"I mean, these good folks are revolutionizing how businesses conduct their business. And, like them, I am very optimistic about our position in the world and about its influence on the United States. We're concerned about the short-term economic news, but long-term I'm optimistic. And so, I hope investors, you know - secondly, I hope investors hold investments for periods of time - that I've always found the best investments are those that you salt away based on economics." - Austin, Texas, Jan. 4, 2001

Making Early Christmas Lists

Two young lads are talking about their respective Christmas lists. “What did you ask Santa Claus for”, says the first one? “I asked Santa for a Game Boy, an erector set, a high tech computer, a Lionel electric train (that’s what we used to ask for, are they still in business), a remote control Ferrari”, and the list goes on forever.

“What about you, what did you ask for”, says the second kid? ”Well”, replies the first little guy, “I asked for a Tampax”. “A what?! Like, what’s a Tampax”, queries the second little lad?

“Well”, answers the first little guy, “I don’t really know exactly what it is, but apparently, you can do a lot of really interesting things with it, like going swimming, going horseback riding, playing tennis."
