Skydiver Dies in Freak Surfboarding Accident

ENGLAND - As if skydiving was not dangerous enough, try being strapped to a surfboard! Nigel Thomas learned the hard way when the experienced skydiver plunged 15,000 feet to his death Friday after his emergency parachute became tangled with a surfboard to which he was strapped. Thomas, 36 was demonstrat-ing the dangerous sport of sky surfing to dozens of spectators when he was sent twisting through the air before hitting the ground at over 60 mph. Thomas was a member of the Headcorn Parachute Club in England and was described by friends as a very proficient jumper, having completed more than 200 jumps. The club´s chief instructor, Peter Sizer, who was on the plane with Thomas, said, We try to make the sport as safe as possible but unfortunately tragic accidents do happen. PS- the cool parts were just wierd images that occured the first time a guy went into someone elses mind. it sucked ass.
