 Red Baron Main Suspect in Snoopy Beheading | | By: BizarreNews | Published: 10/06/2000 | | | |
| ST. PAUL, Minnesota - A statue of Snoopy was decapitated last weekend in St. Paul, Minn. The five-foot statue is one of a series erected in tribute to local-boy-made-good Charles Schulz, who drew Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang for nearly 50 years before his death last January. Jane McClure, editor of a local newspaper commented, people are upset about the beheading, which happened late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, because they think it makes the whole neighborhood look bad.
