Star Magazine -- OH OH 7! Seems Pierce Brosnan is the spy who loves head shops -- and this week's edition of the Star has the photos that prove it.
The James Bond star, 50, was snapped buying a fancy glass water pipe worth $1,000 at Dementia, a specialty shop in Malibu whose motto is: "We Smoke The Competition."
As any agent in Her Majesty's Secret Service or Grateful Dead fan knows, buying a water pipe -- commonly known as a bong -- is perfectly legal. But most people associate them with smoking pot, which is definitely illegal.
"Pierce did not seem bothered to be in the shop at all," says a customer, who captured the star's purchase on film.
After carefully weeding through the large selection, he picked an ornate pipe by a glass blower named Marcel.
Brosnan, who lives nearby, then handed his credit card to the large tattooed dude with a goatee behind the counter, paid for his purchase and left.
Just one question -- since when does James Bond have a license to chill ... with a bong?
