LAGOS, Nigeria
- A Nigerian has been convicted for slicing off the penis
of a man caught having sex with his wife. Dugari Dantani had been
given
the option by magistrates of serving a year in jail or paying a fine of
5,000 naira ($43) for causing grievous bodily harm to Dan Jangeru.
Dantani has a week to make up his mind whether to pay the fine or go to
prison.
